Links
www.speedcubing.com
Very big speedcubing website, maintained by WCA Board Member Ron van Bruchem. Official competitions are announced on this website.
Jaap's Puzzle Page
Simply the biggest website about twisty puzzles (and also other puzzles). A lot of information about various puzzles, especially about the mathematical backgrounds and theory related to the puzzles.
Forum's & Discussion groups
On these forums and discussion groups, the best cubers in the world share their knowledge!
Speedcubers Personal Websites
Jessica Fridrich
The website that started it all for me. Jessica Fridrich was the first person to publish the CFOP method, now commonly referred to as the 'Fridrich Method' because of this. It's an interesting site, though the algorithms are not very fingertrick-friendly, in my opinion.
Stefan Pochmann
Stefan Pochmann is a brilliant cuber. He is known to be one of the worlds fastest megaminx solvers. He's also famous for inventing several clever blindfold methods.
Dan Harris
Dan Harris is the UK#1 speedcuber.
Lars Vandenbergh
Lars Vandenbergh is Belgiums#1 speedcuber.
Jasmine Lee
Jasmine Lee is Australia's #1 speedcuber. Allthough, this link is only a link to her beginners method, which is quite good and therefore very popular. Please also check out her blog.
Erik Akkersdijk
Erik Akkersdijk is considered to be one of best allround cubers of this moment. He's now also the official world recordholder for the 3x3 Rubik's Cube!
Gilles Roux
One of the coolest websites! Take a look at his method, or his very original and funny movies. These really make me laugh!
Michiel van der Blonk
Michiel van der Blonk is one of my Dutch speedcubing friends. He has been motivating and helping me to make PHP scripts. He provides some tools and scripts, and hosts a database with algorithms.
Koen Heltzel
Koen Heltzel is one of the Dutch Speecubers. Ever since I started cubing, he has inspired me, because he has a very fluent cubing style.
Software & Tools
Acube
Very useful tool for finding algorithms. I used this to find several algorithms I now use in blindfold cubing. It's a little difficult to use, you have to convert the cubestate into a line of text with a specific syntax, which is explained in the documentation. However, it does give very nice results. You can choose to search for algorithms with only RU or RFU moves.
Cube Explorer
Another useful tool for finding algorithms. Very userfriendly interface; simply assign a color to each sticker, and press a button!
Ron's Cube Solver
Useful tool for finding algorithms. I found some good F2L shortcuts with this tool; it allows ignoring certain parts of the cube.
RubikPlayer
The Java Applets on this site are RubikPlayer applets, created by Werner Randelshofer.
CALCubeTimer
CALCubeTimer allows you to connect you Stackmat Timer to a computer, and use it as a display. It will also give scrambles and calculate your RA and session average. Also allows to add +2, change the times, add you own time or discard a time. In other words, it's very flexible.
